We went to Don Brown bus sales lot. There were literally hundreds of school busses, parked in this lot in Johnstown, NY. Max and I got to know Johnstown, middleofcartown nowhere, New York very well. After we saw several busses, we realized we know nothing about the inner workings of busses and decided it might be best to involve someone who know something/anything about automobiles. We drove around to about 35 mechanics trying to find someone to help us out. Everyone sang the same song: "I hear Don Browns a straightforward guy, but I can'y very well leave my shop today." There was literally 20 auto mechanics within a 2 mile radius, one would think that one wouldn't be too busy...FALSE. After we had officially given up and decided to Gram and Grams Cafe for lunch, we made one last ditch attempt. We pulled into a converted barn. Our mechanic looked about the ripe age of 16, but knew more about cars than his looks would suggest. After some lengthy negotiations, we are purchasing a 1999 ford old airport shuttle bus. It has 160,000 miles on it and a handicap lift. More importantly its in our budget. Thank you Ted from Don Brown who showed us the vehicle and the 16 year old boy who seemed to know something about cars. We should physically own the vehicle and be able to begin working on it by early next week. Yeeeey
