WE OWN A BUS. I REPEAT WE OWN A BUS. After an exhausting day we finally have a bus! We woke up early this morning to navigate the the boonies, I mean Johnstown, NY. After getting to Don Brown Bus Sales at 10am, we dealt with insurance and wire transfer issues till about 11. By then the paper work lady had gone to lunch so we decided to do the same. Buying a used car, is like buying a new cellphone--a process you would think would be quick and painless just isn't. We decided to seek out gram and grams cafe. My gps told us to go there last time we were in Johnstown, a place we now know inside and out. Gram and Grams was supposed to be right down the road from where we found our our teen car wiz. We ate at the small town restaurant that had replaced Gram and Grams, double order of grilled cheese and coffees. We got down to Don Browns where we waited an addition 3 hours. After going to the Johnstown DMV, we watched some lady curse out the ladies behind the desk because it was her second time there without the correct paper work (I know how that feels). We got our license plate: FAD 2503. We finally owned the bus, it is properly registered and insured. Before our trip was complete we had one last stop. We went to Hadley, NY to pick a free couch up that we found on craigslist. After lugging the bomb leather couch out of some women's basement we were on our way back to stables. Bus, couch, and big smiles.
